Episode 11: Green Smelly Dead Guy

Today we got out episode 11 of Between Two Studds with our guest Adam Barnard from podcast Foundation Radio we had a lot of fun on this episode and it was great hearing Adam’s insights and about some of his experiences as a property manager! It was also great for Adam to give us his insights on how to run a successful podcast and what are some core tenants that make for successful podcasts.

Over the past two weeks, Alex and I have been busy working on getting some more formal parts of our podcast kicked off, including the launch of this site, the creation of our first ad for other podcasts, and we also included our first ad for another podcast in this very episode! We’re keeping busy for sure, and will be getting out some great episodes in the near future. As mentioned on the podcast recently, we’re working to build up a queue so that we can always ensure we’re releasing episodes on time.

This episode encountered a few more audio issues unfortunately, we’ve spent some time talking in the past about how we sometimes have issues with the application we’re using to record, and in this case, Alex and Adam’s sessions recorded perfectly, but mine was off on the first segment. We’re working to build a better solution around this going forward, so we can reduce some of the time that goes into editing and just have a more comfortable recording experience (and ideally it’ll sound better too).

We’re still very much in a growing and learning phase, but really enjoyed having Adam on! Be sure to check him out also on his photography website and blog as well!
